I've very happy with this mat. It's made like indoor/outdoor carpeting, not like those mats that simulate turf. But it's light and sturdy. I've been hitting only a 9-iron off it so far (it does come with tees), and I like the feel of the clubhead sweeping across the surface of the mat when I make a good swing. I've destroyed the other two mats I've used in the past couple of years. Bad swings tend to rip the turf from the rubber backing. This mat is more like one piece, like a rug, and when I make a bad swing, the worst that happens is that the mat slides a few inches on my walkway. Excellent product!
